The customizable software enables health plans to achieve continuous compliance while reducing the burden of claims overpayments and recoveries due to fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). Its latest offering in support of empowering a safer healthcare through smarter monitoring, Dash underscores ProviderTrust’s commitment to meet the evolving needs of its customers and the industry at large.
Claims overpayment and recovery related to FWA is a health insurance epidemic, costing tens of billions of dollars annually, according to the National Health Care Fraud Anti-Fraud Association. Health plans aiming to reduce the financial burden associated with recoveries are pressured to improve the accuracy of their provider data while simultaneously working to quickly identify potential FWA by monitoring both providers and transactions, preventing payments to fraudulent providers, and protecting vulnerable patient populations.
Dash helps payors overcome the laborious and costly task of continuously monitoring large provider networks to achieve and maintain compliance. It does this by searching and enhancing primary source healthcare data to identify and verify compliance issues and deliver actionable results, enabling health plans to instantly verify provider eligibility.
