ETL Engineer

We partner with HR, Compliance, and Provider Operations teams to monitor healthcare populations to identify license, credential, compliance, and payment eligibility issues before they impact patients. We monitor employees, vendors, provider networks, licenses, credentials and more for OIG and state Medicaid exclusions, sanctions or disciplinary actions, license expirations or suspensions and more, continuously verifying everything at the primary source.

Our solutions combine an intuitive user experience with advanced data matching algorithms and seamless integrations to continuously identify and verify compliance issues in the optimal workflow, such as an HRIS or claims processing system.

We are seeking a talented ETL Engineer to join our internal monitoring team. Collecting and transforming primary source data for use in our applications, ad-hoc analysis for internal and external stakeholders, and improvement and maintenance of our ETL data pipelines.

Requirements
  • You have 3+ years of experience transforming or cleansing data
  • You have 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, R, or similar languages
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing ETL processes and pipelines
  • You are comfortable with complex data analytic and reporting projects
  • Familiarity with data manipulation techniques and frameworks

Baseline & Specialized Skills

  • Skill in scripting for data manipulation and analysis
  • Skill in writing queries, reports, and technical documentation.Experience using SQL and database tools.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
  • Web Scraping technologies
  • Experience navigating and scripting in a Unix command-line environment.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
  • Experience with web front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks, such as React and Vue.js.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Data extraction, profiling, cleansing, deduplication, standardization, conversion, transformation and loading, data mining, warehousing, archiving, and reporting. 
  • Collect, clean, store, organize, integrate data, and create data pipelines.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data systems
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Create internal and publicly available data products and tools, and operationalize data activities.
