Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, commemorates how the Latinx and Hispanic communities have influenced and contributed to American society and culture. As we recognize and honor the vast (and ongoing) contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities to our society and culture across the U.S. during Hispanic Heritage Month, we all need to do our part to make healthcare safer for everyone.

Today, August 26, marks Women’s Equality Day here in the United States, a day to commemorate the ratification of the 19th amendment which finally gave all women the right to vote. Women’s Equality Day celebrates the achievements of women’s rights activists and reminds us of the unique struggles that women face.
